    British Virgin Islands - 1867-68
    Solid border Virgin stamp on either white or toned paper with "long-tailed S", plate position 11 - the last letter of "ISLANDS"
    Shown, front and back of stamp. (second scan)
    Back is signed by Peter Holcombe (now deceased) who authenticated this stamp in 1995.  His authentication letter is included in this offering.  I am relying on his assessment.
    Scan 3 shows the description page from
    Specialized Catalogue of British Virgin Islands Stamps
    by Giorgio Migliavacca, a noted expert on BVI stamps.  I have underlined 22a which I believe best describes this stamp.
    Giorgio shows the value at 0 and only 7,500 printed on various papers.
    This photo/scan is from the first edition in 2001, so the stamp prices are 20 years out of date (and I'm certain higher now).
    Delivery will be by USPS in a letter-sized envelope, but the rarity of this stamp demands insurance and tracking to be paid by buyer if desired.
