Vintage Standard Dry Plate Co Empty Box.
Box is approximately 3 5/8 by 4 3/4 inches which held 1 dozen 3 1/4 by 4 1/4 inch Standard Imperial Portrait Dry plates.
In 1882 Eastman also purchased the
Standard Dry Plate Company
of Lewiston,
Maine, obtaining two excellent chemists for Kodak, and moving the company to
Rochester.
The box says Removed to Rochester,N.Y. c 1890. Box is in good condition Just some wear, but nothing ripped. Some handwriting in pencil on side.
