    Description

    This is a really rare viewer.  It is from the late 1880s and was made to travel well.
    The whole viewer folds to fit inside the 4"x7-1/2"x1-1/2" oil-cloth covered box.  The stereo card slides through the slot in the side.
    It is all original, with some original problems. First, the front latch is missing part of the tab.  It closes, but does not latch.
    Second, the piece that folds down from the lenses is no longer attached.  It is there and can be easily restored.
    Finally, there may be something missing, because one of the sides has a hook that appears to hook into nothing.
    I have not attempted to clean or fix anything.  It is sold as is.
