    Description

    Up for sale is a Sahara Neolithic Stone Celt. A nice polish on the bit and along the rest of the celt. A large flake is out of one side as can be seen in the pictures. This celt is made out of a colorful multi-colored flint. It is 5-1/8" long by 1-1/2" wide by 3/4" thick at the thickest point. This piece is in as found condition. It will clean up very nicely. The pieces that we will be selling were found in the Mali and Niger region of Africa. The date range on these blades, celts and points that we will be selling here on e-bay will range from the Stone Age (Lower Paleolithic, Middle Paleolithic, and Upper Paleolithic) to the Neolithic age known as the New Stone Age. These pieces are getting harder and harder to come by, especially the larger more colorful items.
