Michael Jordan signed this Sports Illustrated during the 1991 season at the Multiplex Gym in Deerfield, Illinois prior to a morning practice.
This is a great example of Michael Jordan’s early 1990’s signature during his playing days with the Bulls.
The Chicago Bulls practiced at the Multiplex gym for years before moving to the Berto Center.
Any of the collectors such as myself that had the pleasure of going to Deerfield for a chance at MJ autographs really misses those days. He wasn’t easy to get after 1992 but did sign off and on for us.
Once the Bulls went to the Berto center it would be difficult for fans to approach Michael Jordan. The police routinely patrolled the Bulls private facility to disperse people.
Michael Jordan is a very tough signature to obtain and has refused to sign Sports Illustrated magazines for over a decade now.
I have collected signed Sports Illustrated magazines for 30 years and have decided to part with some.
