Large Antique Hand Blown Glass Dome Cloche Cover w/ Wooden Base

Description

Victorian Era Hand Blown Clear Glass Dome with a Black painted Oak Base. The 10" diameter x 12" x 3/16" thick glass dome is in good condition no scuffs or scratches. Dome has faint striated rings that can be seen when angled in the light. Top has a light pontiff mark and has a few air bubbles. There is some black residue on the edges which may have been from an old adhesive or seal. The round oak base has five legs and a 1/4" recessed step with a  9" diameter thru hole. It appears to have held a display item on a mounted base.

Measuring 16" overall with a base diameter of 13 1/2". It weighs over 10 lbs.  Please look carefully at the photos.
