After years of repairing, tinkering, testing, proof-of-concepts, presentations, & DIY / hobbyist projects, the time has come to downscale and part with some of the equipment that is no longer needed.

Ideal for network managers who manage HP printers in network environments.
HP External Print Servers deliver high performance network sharing of printers over a range of network protocols.
These older JetDirects have a web interface which will not run on newer versions of Java, which makes
ENTERPRISE
management slightly less convenient.
However, the print server is still fully functionable and maintains manageability through other avenues, such as the printer's control panel.
The testing setup consisisted of an HP 2300 LaserJet Printer and an old HP Laptop running Windows XP ( which may be the last Windows operating system capable of accessing the built-in web interface properly ).
Both pieces of equipment were connected to a DHCP-capable ethernet Router.
