    Description

1970 Buick GS455 Convertible Sloan Documented Restored
    1970 Buick GS 455 Convertible
This is a very rare, 1970 Buick GS 455 Convertible. There were only 1,416 1970 Buick GS 455 Convertibles produced. 1970 was the pinnacle year for muscle cars and high performance! Buick's were no exception. The GS 455 had an underrated 455 Ram Air / 350 HP and a massive 510 FT/Torque.
This particular GS455 is dressed in Burnished Saddle with matching Dark Saddle seats and carpeting. Equipped with many options including Power Convertible Top, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Factory Tachometer and Gauges, Bucket Seats, Center Console with Floor Shift, Courtesy Lights, Buick Floor Mats, Chrome Rally Wheels and Ram Air Hood.
This Buick has been documented by the Sloan Museum as a true GS 455.
With all of these options and all this performance, These Buick's quickly became the "Gentlemen's Hot Rod". Today Buick GS 455 Convertibles are becoming sought after. Collectors want to drive these muscle cars with all the luxury comforts. Total production of only 1,416 cars means surely few remain today.
This is a very well maintained and apparently, garage kept muscle car. During the restoration process the motor was built to Stage 1 Specs and the Stage 1 emblems and chrome valves cover were added however, it was not born a true Stage 1. The paint and body have amazing presence. The body and underside is solid. The interior is tidy, fresh and very clean. This GS Convertible is an absolute joy to drive as it runs, drives and stops better than you would expect. It's a very well sorted muscle car. One ride in this GS and you will be sold. So if you are in the market for a great investment car, that you can enjoy straight away, this is the car for you.
