This 1960 Chevrolet Impala is a beautifully restored Bubble Top and is equipped with all of the most desirable drivability options that collectors desire for their classic cars. Chevrolet first offered the Impala in 1958 and later redesigned its top-of-the-line automobile in 1959. The 1960 model saw further refinements from Chevy, including a shift from the "cat eye" or "teardrop" taillights returning to the classic 3 taillights similar to those in 1958. The 1960 Impala also featured beautiful side "missile" trim that carries from the center to the rear of the car. This particular example comes to us from a local collector and it was his favorite car to drive when he was able. The 348 Cubic Inch V8 engine was the biggest motor available back in 1960 and that is what powers this stunning '60 Impala. The 348 V8 has a "Tri-Power" (3 Rochester 2-Barrel Carburetors) setup which provides more muscle to an already powerful powerplant. The TriPower 348 is mated to a 4 Speed Manual Transmission that makes this Impala a super fun car to drive. Dual Exhaust gives this classic Chevrolet a fantastic sound. This 1960 Impala is a very well-optioned car as well. Power Brakes gives this classic Chevy plenty of stopping power for the 348 Tri-Power. With Power Steering, turning this 1960 Chevy Impala is made much easier and improves the overall driving experience. This Impala Bubbletop has been refinished in its original color, Roman Red, and it stands out in a crowd! The chrome and brightwork around the exterior of this '60 Impala is in nice shape and gives this Impala a truly classic look. This Impala sits on 4 wide whitewall radial tires with spinner hubcaps that make for a classic look and an improved ride. The interior on this '60 Chevy is spectacular! The bench seats have been recovered in beautiful Red and White Vinyl with Red/White Houndstooth cloth inserts. The door panels and steering wheel appear to be stock and they look amazing. Besides the tasteful upgrade of a Sunpro tachometer in the place of the electric clock, the dash is in its stock configuration. The dash is equipped with a 120 MPH Speedometer, gas gauge, temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, the aforementioned upgraded tachometer, generator light and oil pressure light. If you're looking for a slick-looking, good-driving 1960 Chevrolet Impala Bubbletop, this is the car for you. Give us a call today!
