    1930 Model A Ford 5-Window Coupe - LOADED
Plus, all of my Model A-specific tools & spare or original parts that I removed
NOTE - See attached photo. Will not appear in the online search results as pre-1981. Has an ADOT door seal VIN from the Scottsdale ADOT ("DMV"). The original frame stamp will not match the Model B engine VIN
. You could have the body removed and find the original VIN stamp I assume.
    Chicle Drab/Copra Drab/Black/Tan Interior/Straw Wheels/Black Rumble Seat
Cleveland, OH Ford Factory Build Stamp
Runs Great! Lots of power with the '32 B Engine.
MAFCA "A" OF THE DAY in 2018.
Give her a new paint job or leave it as is.
I rode in the rumble seat of this exact Model A in the late '60s/early '70s
    as
a child. So many great memories, but I'm ready to move on now.

    Features and details:
The base model vehicle has the following recent updates. This car is LOADED. Some of my photos are from the intermediate stages while working on her in my garage and may not reflect the completed work.
    Mitchell 6-speed overdrive transmission, 2021
Ken Davis Air Conditioning installed in 2021
    Cling's 1939 Transmission Adapter Kit
New Radiator from CW Moss, 2021.
Float-A-Motor front and rear mount kit. 2021
    Muffler Heat Shield, 2021
Rebuilt Starter and new starter gear for 12V, 2020
12V system conversion (all required components, lights, horn, coil, resistor, bulbs (LEDs), etc). 2021
Logo-Lites Turn signals on bumpers with emergency flasher, 2021
Professionally clayed, buffed, and waxed to restore the luster of the paint. Was not buffed when I got her out of my Mom's garage. Some "orange peel" near the rear B pillar and door. In an area that can be repainted if desired. 2020
Has the under-dash fuse panel with a USB charger. 'A Panel'.
Ken Davis 60A Alternator, with 12V upgrade. 2021.
    FSI Ignition, 12V, 2021 with AUTO-ADVANCE.
NO NEED TO FIDDLE WITH THE RETARD LEVER ANYMORE!! 2021
    Wheel locks.
Hubs may be '31?? but look great. I added the gaskets so they never rattle.
New Seat Belts (front) tan 2021
New Tires with balance beads, 2020
Top-level Brake Energizer kit on all four, 2021
    Steering Stabilizer installed, 2021
Longer Pitman arm for easier turning,
    2020.
    3.3L, 51HP, 37kW, 2800 RPM, 1932 Model B engine (
    factory
specs). Some parts I added may have increased the HP.
Gauge cluster under steering and under the middle dash for tach, water temp, voltage (haven't set up), and  (
    easily
    removable if not desired.)
1939, rebuilt 3-speed transmission coupled with Mitchell overdrive gives you essentially 6 gears.
    No double-clutching required!
'Secrets of Speed' Small Pulley to lower fan speed and "gain 5 HP".
    New head gasket, 2020.
    New Manifold gasket, 2020.
Gave her a valve job and a new valve kit.
    Rebuilt Zenith Carburetor.
Has oil return and side filter. (see photo)
Modern, removable, and "oilable" air filter (see photo)
    Renewed vinyl top. No tears.
    Overhead liner in great shape.
Door liners are OK with wear.
Added new insulation for A/C with soundproofing and a fireproofed firewall.
    New rubber floor mat. 2021.
    New passenger side mirror.
Rearview mirror has a windable clock.
    New speedometer cable from Mitchell.
Bought a new horn rod and kit, no time to install. Will include.
Newer spark plugs from 2020 and radio-protected wires.
    Additional Features:
Installed a rebuilt 1939 transmission and shifter for better highway and intermediate speeds. No more "missing gears" from first to second and you can actually downshift with the Mitchell and the 1939 transmission without grinding gears.
ALL UPGRADES ARE REVERSIBLE. SOME ARE AS EASY AS REMOVING AND REPLACING ONE FOR ONE.
I will include all parts removed that I have available still such as the Model A transmission, generator, drive train, original shocks, 6V coil, original "DIZZY" and any spares I have in the garage.
    Notes:
THIS IS AN ANTIQUE VEHICLE AND THE BUYER SHOULD APPRECIATE THAT IT IS 92+ YRS OLD.
Mileage is on the 1932 Model B engine only but the car is assumed to have millions of miles on it.
I have never worked on the lower end of the motor and do not know whether it has babbitted bearings or inserts.
I replaced the head gasket and also had the steam hole plugged.  Appears to have had a small crack stitched near #4 cyl at one time but the motor is strong! I did not install the 1932 Model B engine but I did rebuild and install the 1939 tranny and Mitchell 6-speed overdrive.
Some minor scratches or very small blemishes.
5th Window slowly rolls down by itself. The mechanism needs replacing or rebuilding but it still works.
Two "restorations" or "refreshes" in the early- to mid-70s and mid-2000s (best of my knowledge).
The Model A is in really good shape and served me well as a weekend driver.
Stored in my garage and the last time she was outside stored was in the mid-1970/the early 80s. I knew the owner from 1962 until his death in 2016 and the passage of the car to my mother, who passed this to me in 2018 to take care of prior to her passing. The title is in my name.
    Title:
Clean AZ title and in my name. The car was not titled in CA due to the owner (a mechanic) passing and leaving it in my mom's garage (he lived with my parents). My mother didn't have time and never drove a car in her life. I had to title it in AZ using a gift transfer and (see attached from the AZ ADOT website). The car was willed to my mom and gifted to me. It is registered as "
1930 Ford Unknown Coupe" as no other way to title it. The listed factory price was the price in the 1930s, not today's value.
