Description
Please note that I do not ship outside of the United States at this time. Make certain to read the entire description, view all photos, and contact me with any questions or concerns before placing a bid. I have for your consideration a beautifully crafted leather and metal case made by E. & G. Higham of Liverpool, England. Beautiful hand stitched leather case is monogrammed along the top. The last name is Phillips, the first name may be an abbreviation for William. Interior has green cloth with a green painted metal insert. When you open it there are multiple compartments. There is also a long, narrow, pouch type area as well. This all lifts out and there is a space to store your rifle pistols, or gun. The case still retains its original paper labels on the interior and two partial paper labels on the exterior. The center leather handle is missing, still has the two smaller ones on either side. It measures about 32 inches in length, about 5 1/2-6 inches in height, and about 6 inches from back to front. Corner stitching is undone at the top cover. This 170 year old box is truly a beautiful piece of craftsman ship and makes a wonderful display. You can also use it as it was originally intended and store your gun and paraphernalia in it.
